My first time on Beerwah was at the beginning of the covid lock downs. I had to get out of the house so I went to Beerwah very early, stood at the base of the slab and wondered if I could do it. Then a young bloke came along, we had a chat. He asked me about my climbing experience, which all involved ropes. He gave me some instruction and encouraged me to give it a go. I made it to the top and found my way down east. My love for these peeks exploded that day. I have since guided nearly every member of my fammily up them all.
